Pricing & Estimated Arrival (ETA)
Pre-order items are listed at their final purchase price.
Estimated arrival dates (ETAs) are provided on each product page. These dates are estimates supplied by the manufacturer and are subject to change without notice due to production, shipping, or other factors outside of our control.
Payment Process
No payment is collected when you place your pre-order.
At checkout, your payment method is securely stored through Shopify's checkout, but your card is not charged until your item arrives at our warehouse and is ready to ship.
Before your payment is processed, we will make every reasonable effort to notify you by email that your item is expected to arrive soon.
Once the item is received, your stored payment method will automatically be charged and your order will be prepared for shipment.
If your payment cannot be processed, we will contact you. If payment is not successfully completed within 3 days, your preorder may be canceled.
One Item Per Pre-Order
To provide the fastest fulfillment and eliminate shipping delays, each preorder item must be placed on a separate order.
This allows every preorder to be processed and shipped as soon as that individual item arrives, rather than waiting for additional products.
Shipping
Preorders typically ship within 1 business day after the item arrives at our warehouse and your payment has been successfully processed.
Shipping charges are calculated and applied when your payment is processed.
Because preorder items are purchased individually, each preorder is processed independently. However, if multiple preorder items for the same customer arrive at our warehouse at the same time, AVS Diecast will combine shipments whenever possible.
When shipments are combined:
- Your shipping charges will be automatically adjusted before your payment is processed, ensuring you never pay more than our maximum flat-rate shipping of $8.95.
- If preorder items arrive at different times, they will ship separately so you receive each item as soon as it becomes available.
Our goal is to ship your orders as quickly as possible while ensuring you receive the lowest shipping cost available.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel your preorder at any time before your payment has been processed.
Once payment has been successfully charged, the order becomes subject to our standard Return Policy.
Manufacturer Cancellations (DNP)
Occasionally, manufacturers cancel products before production. These are referred to as Did Not Produce (DNP) items.
If this occurs:
- Your preorder will be canceled.
- Because payment is not collected until the item arrives, you generally will not be charged.
- If payment had already been processed for any reason, you will receive a full refund, including applicable taxes and shipping charges.
